A Dream for a Better Society

I have a dream that one day I would be able to let my children go to see some friends, go to a party, have fun without the worries if he would be stabbed in some stupid fight of honour, or if she would be raped by 3 violent and drunk young boys because she looked defenceless.

I have a dream that I could do that without the worries if he and his friends would be stopped by a group of boys carrying guns, because they were in their territory, a dream that there would be no gang-“owned” territories, no territories that some people would not be able to enter because they were black or had an attitude or a look they do not like. A worst case scenario would be that some can’t study because the university or school is in the other gang’s territory.

I have a dream that there would be no forced marriages, that no one would have to run away from their family to a place where no one would find them and no one knew. Some marriages are even arranged before the child is born. I have a dream that everyone would be able to decide who they want to marriage themselves.
