Sammenligning af amerikansk og dansk sundhedssystem

I’m going to write about the healthcare system in America, and compere it with the Danish healthcare system.

In the U.S you don't get insurance automatically, and you have to pay for it. And even if you are capable of paying, you have to get approved by the Insurance Company’s. If you’re predisposed of some kind of disease, the Insurance Company’s won't accept you. It's not free in the U.S because they don't pay the Insurance Company’s thought taxes.

If you get sick in Denmark, you get an appointment at the doctor for free, and then he'll give you a prescription for some medicine at the pharmacy. And then you have to pay for the medicine.

In The U.S the doctors won't even get an appointment with you, if you don't have Insurance. You have to pay for the medicine by yourself, even if you have insurance. But the Insurance will pay some of the medicine, but not all of it. And if you need surgery you have to pay.

In 2007 there was only a few people, who had health insurance.

In Denmark when you get sick, and need to go to the hospital, you can get picked up by a ambulance, for free, and then get to the hospital and get treatment. You can go to every hospital in Denmark, but in the US you have to draw your own health insurance, and somebody is getting it from their job, or else it will cost money to get treatment or see a doctor.
