The Amish are working and living like we did in the old days, without any electricity or any smart tools for making your everyday life easier and more foreseeable.

For the Amish this is seen as cooperating with God’s will and meaning of life.

They believe that by working by hand, raising livestock, growing their own food, and not using any machine-driven transport they commune with nature, which is a form of communing with God.

In other words, to the Amish farming is not merely a job, but a sacred lifestyle.

The Amish are firm believers of hard work, responsibility, simple living, and

Cooperation among the communities. Even though this sounds like a very good idea for the society and for the worldwide environmental problems we have at the moment, it is not an ideal suggestion. I believe that mankind today has become so accustomed to live with modern conveniences that not many people would be

willing to sacrifice it all.

My opinion about the Amish lifestyle is that they are themselves, how they want to live their life. But since Amish men not have a high school education or professional training and do not own a driver’s license, which makes it really hard for them to fit in the rest of the “English” and modern world.
