Punks Punks are a subculture of youth who have in common their interest for the punk rock music of the late 1970’s. It first surfaced in London as an aggressive movement. Around 200 youth’s in the area presented themselves as an anti-fashion urban street culture. Punk rock is a rock music that developed between 1976 and 1976 in the UK, the US and Australia.
