It's an ordinary day for the 12-year-old Shaun, who is teased at school. Shaun he is a bit of a loner and not seem to have no friends, has recently lost his father in the Falklands War, and his mother has no energi to take care of hum properly. A day when Shaun is going home at school, he meet a group of skinheads. Group leader, Woody, likes Shaun and talking a lot with him. Shaun quickly becomes a member of the group. Despite the large age difference between Shaun and the rest of the group are the start of a new friendship. Shaun will soon look like the rest of the group when he becomes chronic rage. The relationship between Shaun and the rest of the group seems to go well, they take him out for everything they go again, even if it might not be something as Shaun of the age should experience. Woody and the rest of the gang spend a lot of their time to run around and abandoned houses where they do vandalism, smoking hash and listening to wild music. Group's energy and good humor are an abrupt end when the older and racist Combo is released from jail and returns to the group. In his time in prison has Combo a lot of new ideas which he will talk to the others. It will be too much for Woody, who chose to retire and leave the group. Shaun contrast with it all and start promptly to see Combo somden father, he recently lost. And Shaun will see a mass which he ought not at this age. He gets a girlfriend named Michelle (smell) Which is a lot older than himself, comes out of having to threaten and provoke than lot of people and children of his own age, and even see him finally one of his friends get smashed for blood of Combo.
