Gennemgang af 'The Rabbit Proof Fence'

It all starts with the police officers, going to Jigalong, to look for half-caste, girls, and they picked Molly, Daisy & Gracie, the same day, a higher ranked police officer, said that they should be taken away, from their parents, so a couple of days after, a car came, and picked Molly, Daisy & Gracie, and took them away, from Jigalong. They arrived to Moore River, and then a nun came and told them to come with her, they were very scared, although the nun, was talking very kindly to them, so they got out and followed the nun, she told them were they were going to sleep, there were many other kids, that also was sleeping at the same place. They were told to go out to the church, with all the other kids, but they were scared, so they just sat in the bed, and didn’t move, until another girl, came and told them to come, they went with this little girl, and then they had to sing a song, for Mr. Neville (Mr. Devil), after they sang the song, Mr. Neville, had to check the skin colour on the kids, that were at Moore River, to check if they were light skinned, so they could be adopted by a white family, Molly was called up, but she didn’t want to go, suddenly something changed her mind, and she went up, she was checked, but she wasn’t light skinned, enough to be taken away, by a white family. They got to work as servants, and “slaves” for the white people. One day a girl was taken back to the camp, she has tried to escape but there was this “tracker” which found, her and she got into a box, where she was whipped, on the back, and she had to stay inside the box, for a couple of days, that is when Molly, decided that they should leave, and for her luck, it was raining, so their tracks, was removed, because of the rain, so that the “tracker” it gave them more time to run, and escape, on the way, of the escape, they met a couple of men, that were hunting, they gave them food, and they ate, and got their stomach full, later on, they met a white woman, that gave them coats, all three of them, so they could stay warm and comfortable, night and day, but they had to stay on track, so they started walking, until they came, to a girl that was half-caste, but she was light-skinned and was adopted, to a white family, this girl, invited them to sleep, at her house, and gave them food, so they wouldn’t starve, but the tracker had found, them, and they had to escape, their plan was to get to the rabbit proof fence, so that they could follow it all the way up to Jigalong, they got on track again, until they met this guy, that told them that the mother of Daisy, was in another city, so Daisy, wanted to go there, when the had finally arrived to the rabbit proof fence, Daisy, left them and they parted ways, Molly and Gracie, left and kept walking in the left direction of the rabbit proof fence, until they reached water, then they decided they had to go back to Daisy, they went to the station, but it was too late, the police, had already come, and they took daisy, it was all because of the guy, that had lied to them when he told them, that Daisy’s mother was in another city than Jigalong. Molly and Gracie, had to keep moving, the couldn’t sit and sorrow about it, they finally reached Jigalong, but there was already a police officer, that was suppose to take them when they arrived, but he got scared, and left, and Molly & Gracie, got safely back to Jigalong, to their parents, unfortunately without Daisy.
