1. I think that the film was very good. It had a lot of realistic details and events, what you really understood and believed in. The film weren’t hard to understand at all, but got a little boring ones in while. The boring parts would be the talking scenes, of course the talking parts are important to the storyline but that “mood” was set very old and quiet, which properly is the right thing to do.
2. I would say that the key themes are “Escape” and “family bonds” because; the film puts focus on the escape of three young girls, and their followers. Family bonds because of the tragic situation in the beginning of the film where the girls gets captured and driven away.
3. The life in the Australian desert seems to me kind of boring. Properly because it was a hundred yeas ago and we today have way more advanced entertainment. But back then it would properly be just fine.
4. The eagle appears the second time, when the girls faint in the hot and dry desert. The eagle appears as a sign, so that the girls can keep going and survive.
5. He seems like a mean stubborn man, but of course the role requires him to seem like an evil person so that the viewer’s cheer for the right people.
