Massakren på Columbine High School

The main topic is School shooting, and my topic is “The massacre at Columbine High School”.

I have chosen this topic because, once my older brother had this topic in school, and when he told me about it, I were very fascinated.

Another reason why I have chosen this topic is because it is hard for me to understand what makes people kill other people completely innocent, without having any cause or motive.

23 years ago, April 20, 1999, 15 people were killed at Columbine High School. 13 victims and 2 perpetrators. The two perpetrators: Eric Harris & Dylan Klebold made suicide after killed the 13 victims.

The people who were killed was killed by shooting, but the two perpetrators also attempted bombing during the massacre. The motive remains unclear.

In 2002 the director Michael Moore made a documentary film called Bowling for Columbine. I think this is the main reason that “The massacre at Columbine High School” is known by many people all over the world.

Unfortunately, school shooting is happening quite often in America. Since “The massacre at Columbine High School” in 1999 more than 311.000 students have experienced gun violence at school and 27 school shootings have taken place so far this year.
