I stepped into his room, but as I stepped in he shouted, ‘Get out of my room, Curt.’ Curt is my name, not that I am proud of it in any way; actually I hate my parents for giving me that name. But not only did they name me Curt, they forced me to take violin lessons, as if I didn’t get bullied enough.
‘Why Bertram, why do you want me to leave?’ Bertram is the name of my brother. He is a bit of an outcast. He has an acne problem and he is also bullied a lot in school. I kind of look up to him, which I know is bad since he causes a lot of trouble.‘You are annoying the shit out of me’ he shouted, while I walked backwards out of the door in fear of what he would do to me.
The next morning we were waiting at the bus stop, and a couple of guys came over, and asked Bertram for money. At that time I wasn’t sure of why he gave them money, but he did. These guys were very kind to Bertram, in a way I didn’t like. ‘Thank you Berty’ one of them said while the other one giggled. ‘What did you give them money for?’ I asked curiously, but also scared of if he was going to hurt me for my actions. I obviously shouldn’t ask him about these things. ‘Nothing’ he replied. That scared me since he would normally say something like; ‘none of your business, turd’
