The Columbine High School massacre was a school shooting that occurred on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School in Columbine. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold murdered 12 students and one teacher before turning their guns on themselves and committing suicide. 10 minutes before the shooting they placed two bombs in the cafeteria. The bombs were planned to go at 11:17, on the most crowded time of the day. But it didn’t went of as the plan. So instead they started school shooting.
The shooting started at lunchtime when the most of the pupils sat eaten in the cafeteria. But luckily everybody escaped away alive. They hadn’t killed someone yet. So they started a new attack in the library. Unfortunately they had some more luck with the second attack. 13 students got murdered. Harris and Klebold killed themselves with gunshot wounds to the head in the schools library at exactly 12:08 pm on the day of the shootings
There was speculations about Harris and Dylan committed the killings because they were members of a group of social outcasts called the Trenchcoat Mafia that was fascinated by Goth culture. It was also speculated that Harris and Dylan had carried out the shootings as retaliation for being bullied. Violent video games and music were blamed for influencing the killers. None of these theories was ever proven.
