Hi, my name is [NAVN A], I am 60 years old, and I want to tell you guys about my childhood, growing up in the house boat. I lived there with my mom, dad and siblings.
I was 10 years old when my family moved to the house boat. We lived in Copenhagen in Denmark before, we moved to California. My dad got transferred to a company in California. At the start we could not find a place to live, because it was very expensive.
But after searching for a long period, one of my father’s friend found us a place to live. It was near the beach. We didn’t much about the house before we moved in. We just heard a bit about the house, we heard that the house was known as the house boat. We imagined many things when we heard about it, but no one could ever imagine that our house was actually a boat house. We were shocked. It was a real house boat, after that we enjoyed many happy moments in that house.
There were 7 rooms on the same floor, and we had 2 toilets and 1 kitchen. We used the beach as our backyard because we didn’t have any other place.
