A few days before Christmas, six men were in Horse Shoe Inn. They were businessmen, but they talked about ghost histories. They heard the fourth now. It was about a ghost who travelled in a normal train. But when the railway man asked him for the ticket, the ghost cried and disappeared through the window. Then a little gentleman told a history of a ghost who has been in that inn. The ghosts name was Jerry Bundler and he was a criminal. About eight years Bundler was caught of police in his own house, hanged on the top of bed by his handkerchief. At last the old gentleman concluded that Jerry Bundler is still in this house and tries to kill people. After this story the old gentleman went to his bed and Hirst planned to make the poor gentleman afraid, dressing like Jerry Bundler. Then he was getting to his room to dress up. Mr Hirst was coming quickly from the outside of the room and told that he have seen the ghost. One of the six men supposed that it was happened because they talked about it. Then the waiter guided them to the place where he also sews the ghost. All could not sleep alone excepting Mr Leek, who was not afraid of ghosts. Then the others were following the waiter to the coffee room, but not Mr Leek. George, the waiter turned off the gas and then suddenly all heard a noise and a person who appeared in to the room. After a loud bang which was heard of everyone, George lighted the gas and the people who were there could see Hirst’s body who lay down. They saw also Leeks gun which was felling to the floor. Mr Leek shut out the sight of the dead man with his hands. Before anyone spoke a word, they could hear Somers voice who told to Leek that he must not …, then he fell into Malcolm’s hands.
