My mother and Calvin just got married for a few days ago, and they didn’t say a word to me about their marriage, and it made me really upset about it.
My mom was quiet during breakfast this morning, she didn’t even speak to me. She was just staring out through the window. She took a zip of the coffee, and told me that we are late, “so finish up your breakfast”. I didn’t even argue since I know we weren’t late. When I was done eating, I got upstairs and got dressed, and got ready to go to school, and before I went out of the front door she told me: “just remember, William. I’ve got to do what I think is best for both of us, for me as well as you.”
I puzzled with my mom’s sentence until the school was over. At dinner time I finally figured it out what she meant, with “I’ve got to do what I think is best for both of us, for me as well as you.” SHE WANTS ME TO LEAVE HOME?, when I was done eating my dinner I went back to my room and started writing a letter to my parents.
