New York Never Again: En rejsehistorie

Finally the plane landed. I have been flying for several hours, and my back is beginning to hurt like hell. I stepped out of the plane and walked in a swift tempo, over to the taxi waiting for me with a man holding a sign with my name. I came up to him and asked if this was my taxi, ha asked after my name and id. He accepted and I stepped inside the cab. While driving through New York I was astonished about how enormous the city is. I arrived at Daniels apartment and went up to the doorstep, knocked on the door and out came Daniel one of my friends since kindergarten. We were both very happy to see each other and we hugged and grabbed a beer from the fridge. We talked for several hours, but mostly about my life, I couldn’t seem to get some information about his life here in New York. I stayed at Daniels house all night. I said goodbye to him the next day because I was here in New York on a sightseeing trip. When I came outside I hailed a taxi and said I wanted to go to the dock, I would like to see the Statue Of Liberty and sail out to it so I can get up inside it and look out on Manhattan. When we arrived to the docks to men in black suits came up to me and told me to follow them, I asked them what this was about, but they both grabbed one of my arms and pulled me over to an old warehouse. They sat me down in a chair and handcuffed me to it. They started to ask me questions about Daniel. I told them that he is an old friend he has moved to the states from England because he wanted to try something new. I asked them who they were, they answered by taking a badge up from the pocket, on it there was a few letters, and it said NYPD which means New York Police Department. I asked them what this was about; they said that Daniel is a drug dealer and they thought that I was a customer.They took me to the station and gave me a phone so I could call friends or family. I called Andy my best friend and told him what happened, he was shocked and he said he would tell Suzie what happened. I called my mom and she said right away that she would come to pick me up and she took the first flight to New York. I also called Suzie and told her what happened she told me that Andy already had written it to her, and she was scared about what have happened to me. The police let me go the next day and my mom came up to the police station and picked me up, I told her the whole story and she was upset and sad that Daniel was in some shit like that, I wrote to Suzie a text about me coming home to England now and said I would explain everything when I got there, or I would at least try to because I quit didn’t understand it myself. But that was my trip to New York and I am probably never coming back.
