The movie is about a Scientist, who has invented this Time Machine, going back in time, to whichever period of time you want to go. The movie is set in California, Hillvalley, where this teenage boy Marty lives with his family. His mum called Lorraine, his dad called George, and his two siblings called Dave and Linda. Dr. Emnett Brown a.ka ‘Doc’ was a friend of Marty’s. Micheal J. Fox played Marty McFly, Doc was played by Christopher Lyod, Crispin Glover played George, Lea Thompson played Lorraine, Biff was played by Thomas F. Wilson, And Jennifer was originally played by Melora Hardin, but some complications occurred and instead Jennifer was played by Claudia Wells. This type of movie is a Science-Fiction movie because its plot is about a boy who time-travelled through time, and since that is not possible and made out of special effects it’s determined to be a Science-fiction movie. It was set in 1985 where his normal life is to be taken place, but since he time travels through time and into the past he ends up in 1955, of which his Parents; George and Lorraine are young teenage students, just waiting to fall in love.

Seventeen-year-old Marty Mcfly lives with his parents George Mcfly and Lorraine Mcfly. They have some problems in they’re family, including that Lorraine, marty’s mother is an Alcoholic and his Dad, George is still bullied by his school-bully Biff Tanen. Marty also have two siblings called Dave and Linda, and so far, they don’t have such a bright future ahead of them. On top of that Marty has a beautiful girlfriend called Jennifer who loves him so dearly, and they are the cutest couple. That night, Marty meets his friend Dr. Emmett Brown a.k.a ‘Doc’ in a parking lot at 1 AM in the morning. He makes an announcement, that he has created a new highly advanced time machine! Made of a car, but instead of running on gas, it runs on a different type of fuel, called Plutonium, because it’s the only type of fuel, which supplies 1.21 gigawatts. Doc then explains that when wanting to time-travel, you must reach 88 miles per hour, of which he explains with and example, November 5, 1955. Before Doc could try his new invention, a sudden attack of Libyan terrorists come by and he then gets shot, because that’s where he got the plutonium. Marty hurries into the car and forgets the plutonium, which he needs to get back home. He unexpectedly ends up in a farmer’s barn, and there is a strange atmosphere around him. Everything seems a lot older. He then finds out that he has travelled back into, and is now in need to get back home. Its morning and he goes to his usual coffee shop. He doesn’t notice, but right next to him, is his teenage dad. He only finds out later, when this bully comes and threatens him, well his dad. He then follows him, and finds him sitting in a tree, spying on his mum with a telescope looking at her undress. This was very awkward for Marty. As George is about to be hit by Lorraines father’s car, by falling down from the tree, Marty quickly pushes him out of the way, and is knocked out. The thing is, that was supposed to be George instead of Marty, so his teenage mum Lorraine starts flirting with him, instead of his dad. Marty doesn’t find this amusing at all, so he starts searching for the younger Doc. Eventually he convinces Doc that he is from the future, by some questions he asked and replied completely correct, he then asks for help to get back to the future. Doc then tells Marty that the only source capable of reaching up to 1.21 Giggawatts is a bolt of Lightening. Marty then discovers a flyer from earlier on, on which it says ‘Save the Clock’ showing Doc and Marty that a bolt of lightning will stike at exactly the time on the flyer, suggesting that they can see the future. Awesome. Doc makes plans to equipt the lightning strike to power the DeLorean's flux capacitor. Marty has a picture of him and his siblings, they watch them slowly disappear on the picture. Marty realizes that he has put in danger his family because he has prevented his parents from coming together. Marty encourages George to man up and ask Lorraine to the school dance, although Lorraine is deeply in love with Marty. Marty has a plan to get his parents together by him, doing unpleasant things to his mum, and then George coming and ‘rescuing’ her from Marty. This doesn’t happen, instead Biff turns up and ruins everything. Meanwhile doc is preparing the other side of the plan; Getting back. But something goes wrong and the wire detaches from the clock tower and everything seems to be a mess. But although god’s will was against them, they made it, and everything turned out well. The end.
