It started for about a year ago. My mom turned sick. Breast cancer. The first period of her illness was okay, but then it turned worse. She had to live at the hospital, and couldn’t even walk. I don’t know what they did, but something more was suddenly wrong with her. We didn’t even talk with each other about it, cause my dad always started crying. I thought it was hard for me, but you should have seen my brother. My brother and my mom had a unique relationship. It’s a little bit weird. I’ve always been my dads, and Mitch; my brother has always been my mothers.

My mom started getting more ill, and we didn’t really know what to do. My brother was with her everyday after school. He didn’t sleep at night cause he was looking after her. One day Mitch and I were on our way to the hospital. My dad was crying when we came. I remember my heart started beat faster, and I didn’t know what to do. My dad asked us if we could sit for a minute, and both of us were just looking at each other. My brother’s eyes started crying, and mine too. My dad said that my mother just had a heart failure, and she didn’t have the power to get back to life again. My brother leaved the hospital after that, and we didn’t hear from him in two days. My dad was so sad that he didn’t even think about looking after him.
