Plot Summary: 'The Escape from Alcatraz'

The story begins in January 18, 1960 as Frank Morris arrives to the prison island Alcatraz, because he has escaped from many other prisons before.

The next morning at the breakfast he meets Lakmus. Lakmus is also a prisoner.

Later in franks cell, a guard tells Frank that the warden wants to see him, the warden informs him about his privileges and that nobody has ever escaped from Alcatraz.

In the shower there is a prisoner which name is Wolf. He tell Frank that he is Wolfs bitch. Frank gets provoked and then he beat him.

Later Frank was send down to the library where he meets English. English is a prisoner, who is black and never going to get out because; he killed two white men in self-defense.

In the Prison yard Frank meets Doc a painting artist, and he also talks a bit with English, about escaping. Later in Franks cell, a guard offer him a job in Lumberyard, he gets 15 cent per hour.

Next day in the prison yard, Lakmus tells Frank that there is maybe a way out throw the ventilator shaft. After they have talked, Wolf is attacking frank with a knife, and they end up in D-block. He is send back to his cell. The same day comes new prisoner in the neighbor cell, his name is Charlie Butts.
