John Tunstall, cattle rancher in Lincoln County, New Mexico, hires wayward young armed men to live and work on his ranch. Billy comes out to Tunstall. Tunstall is killed. Billy promised revenge against Murphy and the men responsible for killing Tunstall. Dick died in an intense shootout. Billy appoints himself as the new leader, the gang becomes famous and the U.S. Army is charged with bringing them to justice. The gang eludes attention for some time, and Charlie is getting married in Mexico.
They become "trapped" in a house. When the house starts to burn down, the men come with an Escape Plan. Billy places himself inside a large suitcase and thrown out the window. When it lands in front of the house, he takes his opponents by surprise when he pops out and starts to open fire. Billy is shot twice in his arms. Charlie dies. Doc gets shot but the knight away with Yen Sun. Chavez is shot several times by the army and Murphy men. He falls into a dirty puddle, death. Army opens fire on him with a Gatling gun, and he is killed. Billy shoots Murphy right between the eyes and kills him.
Nicknamed the Kid came to his young age and very lanky appearance.
