Analyse af filmen 'The Wolf of Wall Street'

My favourite movie is called Wolf of Wall street, the movie is absolutely genius; the money, the drugs, the alcohol and of course the women. It’s all about living life, which is awesome.

The movie is about the multimillionaire Jordan Belfort played by the actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who is able to portray the business man in an exciting way, almost as a villain and a hero at the same time. Belfort committing crime upon crime, stealing from others, committing tax fraud, stock market manipulation. But in the same time he pulls other with him, making his workers rich.

As he was making his money he was also able to party and have fun, taking endless amount for drugs, especially the drug called “ludes”, he also did drugs like cocaine and ecstasy. During all of this chaos Jordan falls in love with Naomi Lapaglia, he divorces his then wife and marries Naomi, the two conceive a child, a girl named Skylar.

To circumvent getting caught Jordan opens a Swiss bank account with a corrupt banker, which is outside of reach from the american authorities, he then uses his friends family to smuggle over 20 million dollars to Switzerland.

Jordan gets and loses a lot of friends in his time of his money making, gets in many arguments, as Jordan is pretty selfish and wants to have the highest profit possible friends don’t seem to stick around for long, apart from his best friend Donnie, who even though gets treated badly by Jordan he sticks around as he believes it is through Jordan that he will become successful.
