The friendship between Billy and Michael are extraordinary they accept each other exactly as they are. That is exactly what a friendship basically is all about, accepting each other without judgment, like when Billy saw Michael in a dress and with lipstick he didn’t judge him he just thought that’s how he is and that’s okay with me. And when Michael found out that Billy liked dancing ballet he didn’t judge him either. Billy and Michael are also supporting one and other, by accepting each other. It’s so important to have someone who will support you no matter what. Someone who will tell you that you can do it, when you doubt yourself, helping you through tough times, someone who believes in you when you don’t. When you are with your friend you can both be laughing and having so much fun and the next moment you can be serious. It’s so good to have a friend to share your life with and talk about everything from school to sex and talk about boyfriends and problems for example with friends, family, school and yourself.
Follow your dream
In the movie Billy’s father, Jackie is expecting Billy to box, but when Billy discovers the ballet class next door, he gets really fascinated by ballet. Then one time he sneaks into Mrs. Wilkinson ballet class and begin dancing among all the other girls. Mrs. Wilkinson sees his talent and tells him she should join the class. Billy starts joining the ballet class instead of boxing. One day Jackie sees Billy dancing ballet and all his prejudices against ballet make him forbid Billy ever dancing again. Billy gets upset and can’t understand why he mustn’t join the class. Mrs. Wilkinson wants Billy to dance, so she offers him to get ballet lessons for free. One time Mrs. Wilkinson tells Billy the story about The Swan Lake, about how the swan princess is a swan by day and I princess at night, because of a spell, and how it can only be broken, by a man who will make a promise to love her for all time. The prince makes this promise but he doesn’t keep it, and it ends with they both die. Billy have a dream now and want to follow he’s dream, but he’s dad is stopping him from it. Jackie thinks that it’s only for girls and his son may indeed not do thing, which is ‘only for girls’. Mrs. Wilkinson speaks to Jackie about Billy dancing ballet, Jackie changes his mind about ballet and take Billy to an audition at a ballet school in London. At the audition one of the judges ask Billy what he fell like when he is dancing and he answers “I feel good, I sort of forget everything, I can feel a change in me whole body and I have this fire in me body I’m just there flying like a bird, like electricity” And with this sentence he sort of gets in the ballet school. In the end of the movie Billy is about to dance in the starring role in the play Swan Lake. So in the end of the movie Billy get to follow his dream. I think it very important to follow your dream, instead of doing something you not passion about. I myself don’t have a dream yet but when I find it I’m going to follow it.
