New journalism is a direction within journalism, which began in USA around 1965, and whose first known performer was the righter Tom Wolfe. New journalism was especially used in feature-articles and is in general characterised by a literatured know stile and a widespread subjective, which primary purpose is to give the reader an illusion of presence. The most important narrator techniques was identified by Wolfe. New Journalism borrowed it from literary fiction, a scene on scene construction, which often breaks the chronology. The genre uses dialog, a third person narrative angle, which includes the journalist and his experience and feelings directly in the told story. It also includes a recording of everyday details such as behaviour, possessions, friends and family, which indicate the status life of the character.
