Today reality programs lures many people in front of the TV. And there are certainly many reality programs to watch. Reality TV exhibits normal people who had a normal life before the programs. Reality programs show the contestant´s way of behaving and sometimes all the stupid things they do. There are many people who like to watch TV, but then why fill it with relatively unimportant programs? Of course I have seen Paradise Hotel, Big Brother and many other programs, but I still sometimes think that it´s foolish and irrelevant. You can discuss and criticize the people who participate in the programs. And we remember these people, who become reality stars.
There are so many reality programs, that I can´t even count them on one hand. In the last few years there have occurred many new programs on TV3. E.g. “Jeg er en celebrity, få mig væk herfra”, another season of Paradise Hotel and something called Adam & Eva. Adam & Eva is a dating program where they have to be completely naked on an island. Already now you can see how long they want to go to find their true love. It´s ludicrous.
The programs often display the contestants in an awful way. E.g. in Paradise Hotel the TV make them look dumber than they are. The TV shows the viewers almost everything the contestants do. And it can sometimes be offensive to some viewers. E.g. when they get drunk and have sex on live TV.
