First of all I know it can be so so so scary to start a new place and dont know anybody, especially if you moved from another town or maybe country, but the only thing you can do is to take a deep breath and just do it, and be open to meet new people, myself has tried to change school quite some times. This is my fourth school, Be nice to adults, teenagers and kids alike, because they might just be your next teacher or friend. Talk to different people, but don't ignore a certain group. Be yourself and don't lie. This is your school now...take a chance on being who you weren't at your old school. Trust me its okay to be nervous, and maybe a little afraid, but dont worry. second thing is important, dont skip class. if you skip class, while you still are the new one, you send a signal to the other students, that you are lazy and you dont want to be in school. You just have to jump right into all the new people you are going to meet, so take a change and stay positive, because you dont know that is going to happen and you will get friends maybe for a life time. Another thing is that you cannot bully anyone or be rude, that is the stupids thing to do. Remember to be yourself, people will ask many questions, answer them, but dont ramble too much. If you just are nice to the others students, you might make new friends. Even if its not the first day try to talk to people but not too much or they will not really like you. The one rule of being the new kid is that you're new. Everyone already has friends. They don't need you as a friend. The only thing you have going is the good thing of being a new kid. This will wear off within the end of your first month, so make the best of it. Clara lindberg. TFE.
