Starting your own business: pros and cons

First of all there is a big difference between being an employee and being the boss, when you are an employee you do not have the same freedom as if you were the boss. You are told what to do and you should ask for permission if you want to do something. Usually when you start a new business you will start it at home. This means that you would be able to get up at 8.50am, and sit at your desk at 9am. Nevertheless are you in control of everything, your ambitions are only restricted and limited by your ability to run business. If you want your company to grow you are able to expand it or if you want it to stay small it is your choice as well. Another great benefit which also keeps you motivated is that you can take as much time off as you want, whenever you want. But it is not the best thing to do when you are starting your own business and when it is under expansion. It must be very lonely to start your own business in such a young age. If he dedicates his life to the development of his software then he can’t be together with other people so often and he’ll lose a lot of friends. It is also very risky to start your own business because if it fails, then you will lose all the money that you invested in the company and can end up in debt. You need to have everything related to starting the business, licenses, marketing and finding the product sources under control. In other words there would be a great responsibility pending on your shoulders. And you really need to be keen on starting your own business because it takes a lot of hard work. Many self starters get a lot of stress because they are working so hard to get their company up and running. Probably for the first half or the whole year you will need to face the fact of being low on money because you need to invest, buy and getting customers. Maybe after the first year you will get richer or keep getting poorer
