Dear Kicki! I received your e-mail regarding your trip, and i’m glad you’ve made it home safely, although i suppose you’d rather still be away from our cold country! ;-) I’m still here in Los Angeles, and i’m still enjoying the American culture, as much as I did two weeks ago. The sun is still shining regularly, although it started to rain the other day, which actually lead to some serious thunder!! It was quite frightening. Other than that, the weather has been amazing, and i have gotten quite tan! We’ve also visited a lot of attractions, as you probably predicted. We’ve visited The hollywood sign, Hollywood & Highland, Universal Studios, Madame Tassauds, The Hollywood ball & of course The Hollywood Walk of Fame. I enjoyed it all, because unlike our other vacations, everyone of the attractions was actually interesting! I did have a favorite though, and that was Madame Tassauds. I just thought that all the wax-characters were so freaky, but I still got a picture with fake Justin Bieber, Beyonce and of course One Direction, haha! I also discovered that Hollywood is very walkable, and there are historic and cultural markers all over the city to tell you the history of different buildings and landmarks! We walked around with a guide, who could help us put it all in context. We are currently living at the The Hollywood Roosevelt, which is an absolutely beautiful hotel with modern amenities and style that completely oozes character. In other words, I think it’s a good mix of classic hollywood with the dash of a new style. I definitely think it's the Los Angeles mainstay for a reason. The staff are top notch and there always seems to be a bowl of chocolates at every corner!! Love that! I went shopping with my one of the pretty girls look, i see a girl with coming here, i’m taking mom yesterday on Rodeo Drive, and I must say that i felt like from “The Hills”. Everything is so glamorous and everywhere i a chihuahua in her bag. I promise you, the next time i’m you with me!!
