Give an account of the changes caused by globalization when we look at British society and traditions according to the text
To start off, everything has become multicultural, because of different kinds of movements for equality for everyone and the different countries around the world has become more agreeable and started having the same opinions in world based situation, to come up with best thing for everybody.
In the text from “Who runs this place” by Anthony Sampson, Anthony gave us a picture of how the world looks now. And in this text, the present time Britain is looked at in despair.
Everything such as the cities, the people and the streets of England have changed from this wonderful perfect image of the land of the gentleman. Now it is looked at in despite or at least from Anthony Sampsons point of view, because he means he is representative to the old English land of gentlemen.
By this globalization, the world has become, as mentioned above, very multicultural. As Anthony also mentioned, the internet is a very big part of this globalization. Everyone can do whatever they desire on the internet. Whether it is looking at videos from a war on the other half of the planet or it Is getting in touch with people either around the world or down the street. The internet is claimed as the arena for public debate.
