The key question is whether the growing globalization of the world economy will lead to success or whether it will be a failure.

Slumdog millionaire

A great movie about globalization and poverty. The movie illustrates the big problem the world is facing right now. The film paints a clear picture of how society in India is built, there are some very rich people in India there has it all, same cars as the rich people in US, but there is also people as Jamal Malik.

People there are living in slum. The movie is also demonstrating that the IT outsourcing in India is extreme high. There is a scene in the movie where Jamal Malik the poor slum boy is at work. He works at a Scottish telephone factory where the employees are all Indian, they have to talk with people from Scotland and try to sell them new telephone packages or help them with telephone problems.

In the scene there are some misunderstandings between Jamal and a lady there is calling from Edinburgh, exactly that scene shows the IT outsourcing is big. Because the lady is asking “where are you from”, then Jamal gets nervous and hang up.
