School in the USA

Dear old teacher.    After 9th grade I moved to USA and, begun on a high school in California . I started on the  local high school, not far from where we live. I'm a junior and ,that means I only have to go to  high school for two years and, then to college but, college is expensive. i'm used to  education being free back in denmark. It’s so different here and, in Denmark and to be  honest i would rather live in Denmark.     You probably wonder how my first week was. It was amazing. Everybody was really nice to  me and, I actually like going to school everyday, even though I wasn’t in school, Monday and  Tuesday. I was sick and, I had jet lag from our flight. The time defends is something like  eight hours behind. It’s crazy so, I’m still adjusting. Ohh yeah right my first three days in  school. You know me well enough so, of course you know that I’m a little geek in chemistry  and, my teacher was surprised that I have learned chemistry since I was in (danish 7th  grade) because they only had chemistry in high school. Ups. Yeah and my first lunch break I  fell and spilt my food all over myself. So… Everybody laughed at me.    I got some new friends so, now I’m not forever alone. One of them is Valerie. She lives just  across the street. She helped me getting ready for school so, I wouldn’t look like a dumbass.  She goes to the same school as me and, we have some classes together like, P.E and  spanish. I haven’t got the hang of it yet but, I will. I just need some time. That's all. The weird  thing is that we choose a lot of our classes by ourselves. I’m used to just getting a  pre made  schedule, so it was special too choose by myself.      Besides school the city is amazing. I chose it. I mean who wouldn’t live in California. There is  so much stuff going on and, the house we live in is just like in a high school movie.  Tomorrow sunday, Valerie will take me to hollywood and, I'm really excited. I see it as  something special to be in hollywood. It’s gonna be strange when it’s just ‘’ohh hollywood  yeah… hmm it’s fine, whatever’’     That just a little from me.
