I’m writing to tell you about my amazing experience here in The United States. It’s amazing here I like it very much. Everyone was so welcoming the first day. Today it’s about a week since I started I’ve already gotten a lot of new friends.
The school here is so different compared to our schools in Denmark. We don’t bring our own packed lunch. We just buy whatever we want in the cafeteria. It kind of surprised me how much the school reminds me of the movies, there are the popular cheerleaders, the football jocks and the achievers. We also have lockers down the hallways where we have our books and other school stuff.
We don’t have our own classrooms. The teachers are always in the same place an then we move around.
It was kind of hard in the beginning to figure out were I had to be for class, because the school is huge. The other students were kind and helped me a lot.
It was also kind of surprising that the teachers are so down to earth, they just stop I the hallway and chitchat with us. My favourite teacher is Mrs Clair she is my drama teacher, she is so nice so good at what she is doing. I have drama class once a week in two lessons. I also have some new classes that I didn’t have in Denmark. I have Spanish, Mythology and Design Technology Workshop.
