I’m doing great over here. My new class is super nice and they was really good to get me involved the first days. I got invited to a party next Friday so I think they like me. It also a little strange here in USA for instance does all kids starts in school a year before us in Denmark so all the kids in my class are a year younger then me. The math classes was and are still a bit challenging for me I think. I didn’t know any English “math words” when I started so I had to ask the teacher what he meant all the time. He also seemed like he thought it was a bit disturbing for the other students but I’m doing better now.
I also got picked on the soccer team. The level is not so good over here so the coach wants me to be the captain next season. I’m really looking forward to the first game because the whole school is going to be there. All the other kids also think I’m like a superstar because I’m good at sports. They are really looking up to all athletes on my new school. It pretty cool I think. The coach also told me that I could get a scolder ship to a great collage easily if my parents to stay. Pretty big words when I only have been there for a week and 4 practices but it’s cool that he is so optimistic about me. Soccer is also like a part of my schedule. Not really because we don’t have training in the middle school day but right after school I have to go change and that is on my schedule. So now when everyone asks me what my favorite subject is I just say soccer. The teachers and my coach also speak together a couple of time a month so coach knows how I’m doing in school. I think it is a little annoying. So if I don’t get good enough grades I may not play some games. But I’m using it as a motivation to do well in school.
