The conflict in Northern Ireland, better known as “The Trouble” were a conflict between Catholics and Protestants, it was about whether or not, Northern Ireland should be a part of the Republic Ireland or Great Britain.
August 1969
The British Government first sends troops to Northern Ireland to restore law and order after three days of violence in the Catholic area of Londonderry.
February 1971
Gunner Robert Curtis becomes the first British soldier to die when he is shot dead by the IRA.

On the 30 January, 13 civilians are shot dead by the British Army during a civil rights march in Londonderry.
October 1974
Pubs are bombed in Guildford. One month later, there are more pub bombings in Birmingham, there were 21 people that died.

Being young in Ireland today
Ireland is a good place to grow up in, because they are very cultural. They accept every human being. It is a peaceful place, with a lot of history.
Pre-school is optional, in Ireland, and if you do choose pre-school, you have to pay money for it.
