For generations, being part of the youth community, has been mentioned as something negative. The culture that never listens, follows their own paths, and do whatever pleases them, no matter what it may cost. Or, that is what it has turned into, in the eyes of the older generations.
In the eyes of the older generations, youth culture can be two things. Some would describe being young, as being lost. Being completely oblivious to the rules of society, and only caring about social media, and themselves. Facebook, Instagram, and so on, has taken over the brains of the teenagers, and nothing else seems to matter.
Then there is the positive thinkers. These people believe, teenagers are the key to the development of a lot of things.
Creating new jobs, better communication, and increasing our knowledge in technology and social media, are only a few of the many possibilities.
But what exactly is youth culture?
Being young is a lot of things.
It is being anxious if you´re balancing your school, and social life.
It is discovering who you are, and who you want to be.
It is confusion, stress, decisions and so on, but neither a positive, nor a negative thing.
