In the beginning we hear about these people called the River People, because they once lived near the river, in the mud. The River People where so smart, and good at almost everything, they know how to build things up and they know how to count.
The River People move out from mud and the river, into this little country, where they later on builds factories and get rich.
The entire River People look alike, so you can easy recognise them in the streets, there’s only this one man who look like a normal person.
The River People live nicely in the country for two hundred years without problems, they just grown stronger and smarter by the time - but then an evil dictator called Drum, come and take over the whole country. Drum convinces the people in the country that the River People aren’t humans, and that they just came to takeover the country.
The ‘normal’ people are confused and decide to agree in what Drum says. So now the normal people thinks the River People are rats, and that they should leave or die.
It all turns into this little kind of war. The one river man who looked like a normal person, tries to help he’s aunt. He’s aunt decides to run away, so she asked if he wanted any of her jewels, but he says no. He’s aunt pay a lot of gold and diamonds to a unknown man, so she could leave the country.
