Filmanalyse af 'Escape Plan'

I have chosen to write about the movie called “Escape Plan” starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and 50 Cent. “Escape Plan” was published in 2013 and the follow up “Escape Plan 2: Hades” is expected to be published in 2018. It is an action, crime and mystery movie which can be seen in its dramatic scenes and plot.

Summary:

Sylvester Stallone as Ray Breslin is an expert in escaping from high security prisons and does it for a living. He has been an inmate in 14 different prisons all over USA and escaped them all. His agent Lester Clark gets approached by a lady from the US government, who wants to hire Ray Breslin to escape from a new international super prison. After accepting the offer, Ray Breslin is being kidnapped, made unconscious and transported to the secret prison where he is being incarcerated. As he wakes up he is in the new prison, built out of glass cells he realizes that it isn’t an ordinary prison. He has been setup and is left on his own in the worst prison build by man.

Ray Breslin is quickly being approached by Schwarzenegger who wants to be his “friend”, although he wants favors in exchange for the friendship. The favor ends out in Ray Breslin and Schwarzenegger gets thrown in isolation just as they want. Ray Breslin escapes from isolation to find out where they are located, it turns out they are on a massive ship in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. After hours locating, learning, building, and planning they start the escape. It results in gunfights, fistfights, and chaos while they run to the top deck, where they are being rescued by a helicopter. As they land on a beach a car approaches them and a lady steps out. It turns out to be the same lady who made Ray Breslin the job offer from the US government. She approached him for one reason to break out her dad, Schwarzenegger who is a wanted man.
