It has already been a week since I moved to the USA and I am already missing Denmark so much. I miss my friends, my old house, the school, the language and most of all the food.
It is also great being here in the US. Though, the school is a lot different over here. My days are longer and I got a lot of homework to do. A regular school day for me starts at 8.30 am and normally ends at 4.30 pm.
In the US we learn Spanish instead of German. It is actually pretty easy. I find that very surprising because it sounds very difficult but it is not.
There are of course a few different classes we attend to such as: The Tests Auditorium, Public speaking and Study Hall. We even got Psychology and Mythology as subjects.
Another thing is that we have extra-curricular. We have Drama, Design Workshops and Clubs. It is kind of fun having these lessons. It makes the days fun and makes the time fly.
But to be honest I find school in the US pretty difficult and hard. First of all because there is a lot of stuff I do not understand. They speak very fast and with many foreign words. Even math is difficult now. Second, the school is huge! It is a so frustration and it takes literally all my energy to find the next classroom.
