Now I have been in USA for one week, and my new school is so nice. The school is very big, and filled with many students. The classrooms are very modern and new. They have this very big auditorium and it looks like “folketingssalen” at home.
My teachers are also really good to teach us, and I feel like I learn a lot of new stuff. It surprised me that we also have different subjects like Drama and Design, but I find it very funny. I’ve also learned Spanish, and I am actually good at it. I don’t have German lessons, wuhuu! In sport we play different ball games like football, which I love. I also think the subjects is distributed fine, but every lesson is over 2 hours long. It can be a little to long, when we for example have 3 hours’ math on Monday, but aside from that I like my schema. The day starts 8:30 and ends 16:30, so it is a long day, but it’s okay.
I also got a lot of new friends, but Sophia is undoubtedly my best friend. It’s kind of a funny story how we became friends. It started on my first day at school. I was very nervous and didn’t know where I should go. It was stated in my schedule that I should be in room 243. It was 8 o’clock, and math should start 8:30. I looked around but couldn’t find the classroom. All the others seemed to know, where they were going. Then I saw Sophia, confused, stressed, she looked just the same as me. We got eye contact from 10 meters’ distance, and started laughing. Then we went over to ach other, and the first thing Sophia said was “You look like a person that need help” and then I answered “You too” Then we asked for help together and found the classroom. From that day we have been best friends.
