William Miller is a 15 years old kid, searching for identity. He has a sister, who is a rebel and disrespectful to their mother Elaine, who has psychotic fear of letting her children find themselves, and is a college professor.
Williams’s sister left their home when William was 11, and she has just turned 18 years. William finds a way to escape too, when he is 15, he leaves home for a while, because he has a written assignment for Rolling Stone, to do a profile of a rising rock band, Stillwater.
Russel is the front figure of the band, and the lead singer, and he is the one who took William under his wings. He has the responsibility over him.
A world of rock, drugs, sex woman, and a lot of party’s. William slowly discovers balance.
Under the pressure of looming deadlines, William becomes increasingly determined to prove himself and his worth. He also meets Penny Lane, who is a groupie; she calls herself a Band Aide. However, she is, of course, a groupie, she just enjoys the music in the same time, and there is not many groupies like that. That maybe be the reason she doesn’t feel so much like a groupie
