Dear Henry my name is [NAVN A]; I’m writing this letter to take a part in the fight against hooliganism, and its destruction.
I was at the football match between City Rangers and Capital United, and I saw some unimaginable things. It started as any other football match, I was standing in line to get into the stadium, I found my seat and the game began. Already 10 minutes into the game the hooligans from Capital began to throw lighters, bottles, burning flags basically anything they could get their hands on, onto the pitch. The police showed up and tried to handle the situation, and did a good job to do so. When City Rangers scored to 2-1 it all went to hell, they started shooting fireworks and beating up the City fans, one guy even ran naked onto the field. This situation the police couldn’t handle and had to stop the game.
After this experience I need to say some things about hooliganism.
It cannot be true that a whole football experience can be ruined by hooligans, the match can even be stopped and that’s just money out the window. You aren’t safe when you’re watching a football match, you don’t know what can hit you or what can happen too you, you could get beat up or hit in the head with a lighter, or similar things. I have experienced that it’s very easy to be caught in the middle of a fight and get seriously injured. With that being said it’s not all bad. The songs and the tifo, gets the crowd going and that is an extraordinary experience. That is one thing out of many bad things, and at the end of the day it isn’t worth it. I think that hooliganism is an awful thing, and it should be punished.
