”... hooliganism has been domesticated, or domesticated enough to become an object of fascination and adoration ...”

This quotation means that hooliganism has become more socialized and friendlier to a point that it has become an activity of attractiveness and worship.

I don’t agree with the quotation. Hooliganism has not been "domesticated" e n o u g h to be loved or been fascinated by. When I watch football on television and I see hooligans throw red flares, stones and other harmful objects on the pitch, it's not something I'll be happy of. It destroys the game completely. All the focus will be removed from the game and up to the riots. And that destroys all about football, the joy. To enjoy see your team win the game.

I have played football for over ten years. And I have supported Real Madrid since I can remember. The best thing with football is when your team wins and you are happy. Football has never been violent and will never become violent. The only violent thing in football is the hooligans. The football world has tight up the rules to p r e v e n t violence at stadiums. There has been much more checking before entering the stadium. It helps a lot to avoid the p r o b l e m s.
