Hooliganism

Dear editor of City Gazette. This weekend I went the football match, where City Rangers played against Capital United with some friends. We all were so excited and looked forward for the match. We went to the match about a half hour before it began. We founded our seats and just waited to the match began. The first half hour of the game was fine, no one did anything wrong, but then it suddenly started the hooligans was throwing bottles onto the pitch and they were burning flags! The policemen came and tried to stop the hooligans. The officers could not stop the hooligans, because there were too many of them. Suddenly the hooligans started to fight against the officers. The football match got stopped to avoid potential injuries to the players. And we did not know what to do, and because we did not want to get involved in these bad situations we just left the match. Football hooliganism is a thing I can't understand why is happening. Why can't the hooligans see that they are doing something wrong? They are hurting other people! And it's like your money just goes to the trash, when a football match just gets stopped, because of the hooligans. I also think that hooliganism is a social phenomenon and it's a result rather than a cause. I agree with most people ideas about the fact that they must be punished. In the fact of hooliganism, we should also think the real reasons under the surface such as poor life conditions, dissatisfaction in their lives, a world without love and the system that says some people 'sorry you are the victims, you have no chance to live better like others'. I think it is very hard to cope with hooliganism. It needs radical solutions which may affect the source of the crime in society. You can not take hooliganism apart from the other criminal events. Moreover, you can not escape from the responsibility of the crime as a member of a society.
