I’m looking forward to your visit to Denmark this summer. Normally the weather is good in the summer period, but sometimes it also rains a lot in Denmark. Despite that I hope the sun will be shining this summer.
When you’re coming I have a lot to show you. I would like to show you the beautiful nature, Legoland, and our capital Copenhagen, where you among other historic buildings can see both our government building and the castle, where the queen lives.
Legoland is an amusement park in Billund, which opened in 1968. It’s a special place with outdoor Lego houses, landscapes, driving trains and sailing ships all made of the colourful and world-famous Lego blocks.
The nature in Denmark is very pretty. We have a lot of idyllic farms with hundreds of multi-coloured cows that grasses in the green fields. We also have a lot of impressive forests, filled with beautiful beech trees. The lush beech trees are light green in the spring, while charmingly brown in the autumn.
Another special thing about Denmark, which I also think is really beautiful, is the unaffected beach along the North Sea. I have been there every summer and have planned for us to stay in my family house at the west coast. Walking on the beach, where the only thing you can hear is the peaceful roar from the sea and the seagulls in the air will hopefully leave you with unforgettable memories.
