what is a school shooting? Why do School shootings happen so often in the USA?
For me, it's hard to empathize with someone who carries out a school shooting. The cruelty of their crimes is unspeakable. Wherever the shootings appear, they have traumatized students and communities across the U.S.
School shootings are terrifying and a big problem in society. Schools have added lockdown drills, bulletproof glass, and metal detectors. School should be a safe area for children to learn instead of fearing for their life. This society has to be more alert about securing weapons at home and being aware of suspicious behavior at school to keep children
A person going out of their way to hurt other people. Trying to target and kill another person. Teachers who look like our teachers, children who look like our friends and family. And the reason they did it was to hurt the other person.
According to research, the majority of school shootings are committed by white male students. It is also very much debated that African American parents realized the need to prepare their children to face not only bullying but also racist comments or acts from the dominant culture which is the white race.
