Every year thousands of people from Europe come to Denmark for holiday. And many of them search for the islands. What about the beaches that Denmark is very known for. We are almost surrounded by water, and then we have many beautiful beaches. When it is summer, Denmark is a very good place for a summer holiday.

The climate in Denmark change very often. We have four seasons, which is: Summer, autumn, winter and spring. It is good to have variable weather. The climate appeals to everyone, no matter what you like. Above 25 is normal in the summertime, and below –5 is normal in the wintertime. Sometimes the weather is rainy, and other times the weather is very hot and dry.

We also have a very beautiful nature that is well kept. We have many castles, and other historical sights. Like Holger Danske, who is sitting in the cellar of the castle Kronborg.

Our cities and towns are also very beautiful places. We have Copenhagen, were you can go on sightseing in the channels, to Nyhavn; or go to the Royal Theater and see a ballet.

You can also see one of the oldest traditions in Denmark. Our monarchy. We still have a Queen, soon a king, and the Danish people love them. It is a little like an adventure to have a queen and prince, who lives in a castle.
