His voice was blurry, but in the same way really clear to her. She knew by the second, who it belonged to; “Romeo?” In that minute he stopped talking and held his breath.
“Juliet?” his voice was unstable. She slowly lifted herself up in sitting position. “But you... the letter... I mean” He couldn’t find the right words “But... we’re here in the tomb” She nodded. “But I’m alive.” He took her hands. “But how..?” she interrupted him and said “There’s no time for explaining. We have to get out of here before my family comes back and see’s us together.” The second the words left her lips, footsteps echoed through the tomb. Romeo reacted quickly and got up; he reached out for Juliet and helped her up.
He was fast, he ran towards a staircase in the sidewall. Juliet couldn’t move, due to the two days of solid sleeping; she felt a bit dizzy and her legs were heavier than rocks.
Romeo looked over his shoulder, he ran back. “Juliet?” he said with a troubled voice. But it was too late. The first couple of people appeared in the tomb; slowly they discovered Juliet with Romeo by her side. A woman screamed and brought everyone’s attention to Juliet in the end of the tomb.
