Romeo and Juliet: Plot Summary

A big party was going on and two teenagers see each other and fall in love. It was love at first sight, but there was a big problem the two families hate each other. One family is called Capulet and the other family is called Montague. Capulet was Romeo’s family and Montague was Juliet’s family. The two families also have a vicar.

Romeo and Juliet are going to get married in secret. They are going to bee married in a church without their parents’ knowing it. The vicar helps with the secret marriage. Juliet’s cousin killed Romeo’s best friend Mercutio. And after this Romeo killed Juliet’s cousin Tybalt. Romeo comforted Juliet and he fled to another city. Because he would be killed it he stayed in this town. Shortly after Juliet’s father says to her: “you must marry Dave Paris”. After this she wanted to commit suicide. The vicar gives Juliet a potion so she looked as if she is dead when she drinks it. In this way she could get out of the house. She says yes to the plan and goes to the vicar.

Romeo hears that Juliet is dead before he gets the letter from the vicar explaining about the potion. Romeo finds Juliet “dead”. Romeo drinks poison and dies. Then Juliet wakes up, and shoots herself when she looked at her lover lying dead on the bed.
