We are in a world where every humans have rights, because humans have a voice and can speak, animals does not have any rights because they do not have a voice and cannot speak. There may be many speculations about that topic, but Simone Reyes feels strongly that animals does not have any rights because of that. In her speech she tries to get you, the listener to be a vegan, because is it fair we kill our animals just because they do not have a voice.
Simone Reyes is talking to about that animals do not have any rights, because they cannot talk, she says that she wants to convince the crowd and the listener to be vegan. She starts by talking about how she became an activist, she was in Canada and saw how people killed the seals, and she was shook and wanted to save all the seals. She became a member of an activist group; she talks about the community and the friendship she gained from being a part of the group and about how she finally opened her eyes to what is really happening to animals.
She is a very good talker, and she really uses a lot of pathos, she wants us to be in their place. She wants us to know how, fragile and sensitive animals are. She talks about how animals are killed and slaughtered and how inhuman it really is, it makes us feel ashamed of our shelves because most people love animals, but just don’t want to hear how animals are slaughtered because they already know its wrong.
