Today was the birth of an outrageous prodigious. ‘Tis creature wasn’t born simply out of hatred nor out of love, for my only love has sprung from my only hate. O, such burden is placed upon me, that I must love a despised foe. By me he is not to be loathed but admired. Romeo, o, Romeo. ‘Tis he, that fair Verona brags of to be virtuous and good. Yet my family shuts their eyes and ears at ‘tis sight.
My family sees me to be married of to Paris. He is indeed a fine young man, but my only promise was, that I would look to like, if looking liking move. I did look, like and even more so love. However, did my eyes not even glance at Paris, but they fell upon Romeo.
Romeo the young man, whom my heart longs for, whom my heart belongs to. I long for his rough touch, and his lips upon mine forming an affectionately tender kiss. I’m not yet a woman and still not a child. I do however know what my heart expects, what my family expects and what is expected of me as a lady of esteem, as a Capulet.
