The Journey to the Brothers´ farm South Africa was conquered by apartheid for approximately fifty years. In society it developed a distance between black and white. The social classes and values got divided, in the light of that. The main characters in the short story, The Journey to the Brothers´ Farm by Pippa Gough from 2013, Annelie and Thabo, are feeling that on their own bodies. The story process this dilemma, which in spite of the fact that it happened a long time ago, still emerges as a relevant discussion today.
