Animal Farm

George Orwell (1903-1950), is a journalist, political author and novelist. George wrote the book Animal Farm, and it was published in 1945.

Animal Farm is a very famous book. It describes the Russian Revolution, told as a parallel story from the animals on a farm. The story is so simply told, that even an English school child can understand it.

If you google Animal Farm, you’ll find a lot of essays, because many students have worked with it, to learn about the Russian Revolution.

This assignment

This assignment is much divided in forms. I’ve done that to get a better overview and insight in Animal Farm, I hope that the reader also will have that experience.

Old Major

Old Major is a 12-year-old pig. Old Majors real name is Willingdon Beauty, but he was just called old Major. Old Major is only a live in the first chapter of the book, but the chapter is almost only about old Major, and what he says.
