How does low self-esteem affect teenagers lives in their teenage years?
Most of the beliefs you have about yourself will often appear as fact, even though they are all your own opinions. The main reason for low self-esteem, is the demands you give yourself are nearly impossible to meet, such as perfection. Statistics have shown that teenagers with low self-esteem regularly make bad decision; for example, girls who engage in unprotected sex, often have lower self-esteem. Low self-esteem can make you to fall of your potential, or to tolerate abusive situations and relationships.
